EatenOnTV.com was created for a very simple reason, we were hungry. On a recent road trip from the deep South to Washington, DC hunger struck. Four hours into the drive we realized that our choices for food were limited to what was listed on the highway signs. Someone asked, “Where would Guy Fieri eat around here? Do you think Rachael Ray has any favorites at this exit?” We realized then and there that we had committed ourselves to a 10 hour drive without checking out the food possibilities along the way. Being great fans of such shows as Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, Man vs. Food, No Reservations and many other Food Network productions we felt like failures.

The rest of the trip was spent dreaming up a website that brought all the information we wished we had together, in one place. As soon as we got home the work began.
